The Nigerian Exchange Limited services the largest economy in Africa and is championing development of Africa’s financial markets. The Nigerian Exchange offers listing and trading services, licensing services, market data solutions, ancillary technology services, and more. It is an open, professional and vibrant exchange, connecting Nigeria, Africa and the world. We are seeking a highly skilled, strategic, and results-driven individual to join our team. As NGX broadens its product offerings to include listing and trading of Commercial Papers (CPs) as well as other discounted products, s/he will play a pivotal role in driving issuer participation in this new market segment. These include identifying and engaging eligible corporates and financial institutions, facilitating the end-to-end listing process, and championing commercial papers as a viable short-term funding solution. In addition, s/he will combine deep market insights with strong relationship management skills, execution excellence, and a proactive approach to market development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and engage corporate issuers and financial institutions that meet eligibility criteria for Commercial Paper issuance, with a view to onboarding them for listing on NGX.
  • Promote benefits of listing Commercial Papers on NGX to prospective issuers as a viable alternative to private placements, emphasising market visibility, liquidity, and regulatory transparency.
  • Work closely with other Product Management teams to provide market intelligence on ongoing product and service development.
  • Collaborate with Trading & Product team to ensure readiness for CP trading and resolve issuer or investor feedback that impacts product attractiveness.
  • Market and sell various products & services of The Nigerian Exchange to prospective and existing listed companies to increase listing value proposition.
Skill & Experience
  • HND/B.Sc. in in Business Admin, Finance, Accountancy, Banking or other related discipline.
  • Minimum 5+ years'' cognate client facing experience in Capital Market, Investment Banking, Asset Management, Financial Services, Manufacturing, Commerce, Agricultural, Transport, Telecoms or Oil and Gas sectors.
  • Understanding of debt capital markets, especially short-term instruments such as Commercial Paper.
  • Experience in origination, structuring, or distribution of fixed income products (e.g., bonds, commercial papers).
  • MBA, professional and other post graduate qualifications will be an added advantage.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Office suite to at least intermediate level.
  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

(NGX Group Plc.) and a Self-Regulatory Organisation (SRO) registered by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to provide regulatory services in the Nigerian Capital Market. We are seeking a highly organised, analytical and detail-oriented individual to join our team. S/he will be responsible for coordinating rule and policy making process for Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) and supporting NGX RegCo in its provision of rules/policy development, guidance, advisory and related services to all relevant stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinating end to end process of developing and/or amending rules, regulatory policies and frameworks.
  • Interpreting existing and proposed rules, as well as address related enquiries, for benefit of all relevant stakeholders.
  • Conducting regular research, building relationships and leveraging existing relationships with all relevant stakeholders, to ensure best practices.
  • Writing comment letters on existing and proposed SEC rules, policies or any other regulation or law pertaining to NGX Group and relevant stakeholders.
  • Supporting promotion of services and activities of NGX RegCo as required.
  • Monitoring and reporting on general developments in Capital Market.
Skill & Experience
  • HND/Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Economics, or any related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ cognate experience in either legal, regulatory/compliance, or relevant role.
  • Strong understanding of securities laws, with solid knowledge of Investments and Securities Act 2025, SEC Rules, NGX Rules, and CAMA 2020.
  • Good knowledge of Capital Market.
  • Sound business and legal judgment.
  • Excellent presentation, problem solving and communication skills.
  • Excellent Time management and Project Management skills.
